Incinerator Gallery History Tours

Incinerator Gallery, Aberfeldie

While you're down by the Maribyrnong for Illuminate the River, why not pop in for a history tour of the Incinerator Gallery?

Discover the unique story of the Incinerator Gallery buildings and its architectural, environmental and technological history. Regarded as a significant building by the National Trust and designed by the offices of Walter Burley Griffin and Marion Mahoney, the Essendon Incinerator set new standards for Australian architecture.

Join us for tours of the complex throughout the evening.

Queens Park Pool Triathlon

Queens Park Pool, Moonee Ponds
Sunday, 15 March, 6.30am to 10.30am

Get ready for one of the biggest events happening in Moonee Valley this Summer – the Queens Park Triathlon!

We’ll be bringing together the community by offering three Triathlon courses that will suit everyone from first timers to competitive triathletes and kids!

Triathlon consists of a swim, bike ride and run.  The Queens Park Swimming Pool Triathlon will commence and conclude at Queens Park.  This event will be open to beginners to advanced triathletes.

Flemington Twilight Market

Join us at the Flemington Twilight Market to celebrate Cultural Diversity Week with food, art, craft, workshops, music, dance, and activities for kids, representing the many cultures living in the City of Moonee Valley.

Cultural Diversity Week is a national celebration that brings together people from all walks of life to promote community harmony, and celebrate the many cultures that make our communities so vibrant.
